Chanute, KS - The annual Game on for a Cure was very successful for the Panthers as they won both games against Labette taking 3 out of 4 games in the series. In game 1 the Panthers won 6-5 on a walk off hit by
Davan Brady.
Dax Sharp got the start and threw 6 innings with
Grant Ash coming in the 7
th inning. The Panthers were down 5-3 going into the bottom of the 7
th and
Brooks Miller, Brendan Fry and
Davan Brady picked up RBI's to bring the Panthers back, giving Grant ash his 3
rd win of the season. In game 2,
Jake Beckmann got the start, going 6 innings only allowing 1 run off of 1 run off of 6 hits, picking up his first win of the season. The Panther offense was rolling early and often with multiple hitters picking up multiple hits en route to 14 hits and 14 runs in 6 innings. The final score was 14-2, ending in a run rule.
