Kansas City, KS - The panthers went up to Kansas City this Sunday where they were able to take two games from the Blue Devils and take the series 3-1. KCK started out hot but the Panthers were able to take over being led on offense by
Luke Westerman,
Austin Oldham,
Kam Koester, and
Lucas Pringle who all had multiple hits in the game.
Dax Sharp kept the Blue Devils scoring to a minimum allowing 4 runs through 6 with
Keegan McDonald coming in the 7
th to close the game. In game two KCK jumped out to an early lead and held it at a score of 8-3 going into the 9
th where the Panthers offense exploded for an 8 run inning earning their second win of the afternoon. Timely hitting was key in the win as everyone got involved, led by
Lucas Pringle,
Keegan McDonald and
Owen Bucher. The Bullpen played a big role with shut down innings by
James Brennan,
Grant Ash, and
Logan Bartlett who got his 3
rd save of the year.
