Overland Park, KS - Saturday, February 25
th was a night to forget for the Neosho County Panthers. NCCC went up to Johnson County to take on the red-hot Cavaliers and got steam-rolled to the tune of 90-48. Nothing went right for the Panthers as they simply couldn't buy a basket in the first half, and though they played better in the 2
nd half, the game was already out of reach. Johnson County was led by conference player of the year candidate Tymer Jackson, who finished with 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
There was 1 bright spot for Neosho, however, with sophomore guard
Alexander Norris scoring 21 points on 4/9 shooting from three and 5 for 5 from the free throw line.
The Panthers will finish out their regular season at home against Labette on Wednesday night at 7:30.
