Kansas City, KS - Joshua Dames had himself a night on Wednesday as KCK faced off against Neosho at home. The 6'3" sophomore guard had 34 points, 10 rebounds, 5 steals, and shot a blistering 10-16 from the field and 11-11 from the FT line. The Panthers held almost everyone else in check, and actually shot the ball better from the field as well as the 3pt line, but couldn't contain Dames and committed 17 turnovers (compared to 9 for KCK), which resulted in the 7 point defeat to the hands of the Blue Devils.
Neosho got a strong performance from sophomore guard
Alexander Norris, who finished with 24 points, 5 rebounds, and was 9-13 from the field and 4-5 from the 3pt line.
NCCC will head back up north on Saturday to take on the Johnson County Cavaliers.
