Chanute, KS – The Panthers took on a non-conference match against Dodge City Community College on Tuesday night.  The Panthers would fall in three sets to the Conquistadors. Set one the Panthers would be down seven early on. The Panthers were able to pull within one at 15-16, they then would pull ahead at 24-22 before the Conquistadors were able to come out on top at 27-25.  Set two the Panthers would be up at 19-14 before a service run by Dodge City would pull them ahead 23-19.  Dodge City would take set two 25-21.  Dodge City would come away with set three 25-13 to take the match.
 
Freshman outside Sydnee Dudolski led on the service line with 6 aces on the night.  Freshman middle Julia Carneiro led the team in hitting percentage hitting a %.222.
 
The Panthers move to 6-4 on the season and will face the Cardinals of Labette Community College for a conference match at home on Wednesday September 7^th at 6:30 pm.
