Neosho hosted St Charles Community College on Sunday September 4^th, and were looking to bounce back after a hard defeat at the hands of Butler. Neosho started the game very slow in terms of intensity and were sloppy in possession. St Charles took a deserved lead mid-way through the first half, Neosho failed to deal with a cross from the right hand side and cleared it poorly, St Charles striker twisted and turned the ball in the box to finish it and take the lead 1-0. Neosho upped the tempo towards the end of the half and had a couple of late chances but were wasteful with their final ball.

In the second half Neosho had possesion of the ball for a large number of minutes but were unable to make it count again and fell 1-0. Neosho will now try and bounce back against KCK on Wednesday the 7^th of September, with a 5:00 pm kickoff.
