Neosho Women's soccer hosted University of Arkansas Rich Mountain and were looking to pick up a win after a few tough games in recent weeks. The first half was very uneventful, Neosho didn't really get started and were lackluster for most of the first half, neither team really put pressure on the other team's goalkeeper. The second half was a different story, the Neosho Lady Panthers came out quickly and opened the scoring,
Isabeau Hesselink tested the keeper from outside the box and found the back of the net. The ladies continued to press on with more intensity for the rest of the game and were able to double their advantage with 15 minutes to go through a good finish from
Elizabeth Napoles. Neosho was able to see the game out without much difficulty and claim victory.
Neosho will now face a highly ranked Barton squad at home on Saturday, September 17
th at 1.00PM.
