Chanute, KS – The Panthers opened up conference with an 0-3 loss to the Red Ravens of Coffeyville.  The Panthers would have an early 15-11 lead in set one before the Ravens were able to tie it back up. The Panthers would gain the lead again at 19-18 before the Ravens would pull ahead at 21-22 and eventually take set one 25-21. Set two the Red Ravens took an early 8-1 lead and would hold the lead throughout set two taking set two 25-17.  A tight third set would also go to Coffeyville 25-21. 
 
Offensively freshman middle Julia Carneiro led the team in hitting percentage, hitting .500%. Freshman outside Sydnee Dudolski led the panther defense with 14 digs followed by sophomore libero Riley Kennedy who recorded 12 digs.
 
The Panthers are now 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference. They are on the road for another conference match on Wednesday, August 31 at 6:30 pm vs the Tigers of Cowley College. The Game will be Live streamed and the following link: https://cowleytigers.com/csn
