Chanute, KS - In what turned out to be a great game Thursday night, the Neosho County Panthers suffered a 6 point loss to a North Arkansas receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Poll, 79-85.
Led by strong performances from
Traymond Willis-Shaw (14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks), and
Jamarion Butler (21 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists), NCCC out shot North Ark from the field, the free throw line, and the 3pt line, but they were undone by costly turnovers and fouls down the stretch.

The Pioneers dominated the turnover battle throughout the game, however, committing just 14 to the Panthers' 27. They also finished with a 21 to 13 foul advantage, resulting in 9 more free throw attempts, that ultimately made the difference in the game.

Neosho County will look to get back to their winning ways on Monday night December 5
th, when they take on Bethany College at home.
