Box Score Independence, KS – The Panthers swept the Pirates of Independence Community College on Wednesday night with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-15. Neosho started out set one on a 5-0 run. The Panthers extended their lead to seven at 14-7 before the Pirates would pull within four at 19-15. The Panthers would come out on top in set one 25-16. Set two the Pirates would be on top at 6-8 before the Panthers were able to rally seven points together to take the lead at 13-9. The Panthers were able to keep their lead and take set two at 25-12. The Panthers would find themselves down five in the third set at 3-8 before calling a timeout. After the timeout the Panthers push four straight points to come within one at 8-7. Neosho would tie the set up at 9-9 before taking the lead. The Panthers would keep their lead and take set three 25-15.

Rylee Moseman led the Panther offense with 9 kills followed by freshman outside
Alyssa Hunter who contributed 8 kills. Sophomore libero
Brooklyn Strobel led the defense with 21 digs followed by freshman defensive specialists
Emma Garrison who contributed 12 digs.
The Panthers move to 6-3 on the season and 5-1 in KJCCC play. They will head to Johnson County on Saturday the 25th to take on Iowa Western at 11:00 AM and Jefferson College at 3:00 PM.
