Box Score COFFEYVILLE, KAN- Panthers Start Season Off With Conference Opening Win At Coffeyville
The Panthers were able to take care of business and take the match 3-1 with scores of 25-16, 25-17, 19-25, 25-9. Neosho started out on a 6-0 run before Coffeyville would call their first timeout. The Panthers were able to keep their lead throughout set one and take set one at 25-16. The second set resembled the first starting out with a 4-0 run before the Red Ravens would score their first point. Neosho again would keep their lead in the second set and take it with a score of 25-17. Set three started out point for point before the Red Ravens would take a three point lead. Neosho would tie it back up at 14-14 before Coffeyville was able to take a lead and keep it the rest of set. The Panthers would fall in set three 25-19. Set four was all Neosho from the start, as they used aggressive serves to take the advantage. The Panthers would cruise into a set four victory 25-9, to take the match 3-1.

Offensively the Panthers were led by freshman outside
Alyssa Hunter with 17 kills and sophomore middle
McKinley Pruitt with 9 kills. Freshman setter
Marah Zenner recorded 43 assists on the match. Defensively the Panthers were led by sophomore libero
Brooklyn Strobel with 17 digs, while freshman outside
Alyssa Hunter also contributed with12 digs.Â

The Panthers move to 1-0 on the season and 1-0 in KJCCC play. Their next matchup will be September 1
