Highland, KS – The Panthers took on the Tigers of Cowley College on Friday in the first round of the district tournament. (25-13, 22-25, 28-26, 25-23) Neosho would come out strong in set one and hopped out on a 9-4 lead and would keep the lead the whole first set. The Panthers would stay strong and aggressive in set one and take it 25-13. The Tigers came out stronger in set two playing right with the Panthers for the set. The tigers would come away with set two 25-22. Set three again would be the two teams playing close the whole set. The set would get tied up at 21-21 and again at 22-22. A serving error by the Panthers would give the Tigers a one point lead before the set would get tied up again at 23-23. A Tiger error would end the set and the Panthers would come away with set three 28-26. Set four the Panthers would start with an early 6-3 lead. The Panthers would take a larger lead mid set 18-11. The Panthers would have set point at 24-18 before letting the Tigers go on a 5-0 run to pull within one. A kill by

This win took the Panthers to the district championship against Highland Community College.
