The Neosho County Panthers played host to the Butler Grizzlies at home on Sophomore Night. With emotions very high the sophomores came and battled in the first half. After a very close first quarter, the Panthers struggled to keep up with Butler in the second half. Neosho ended up falling to the Grizzlies 100-54.

Coach JJ Davis on the loss, "we played really hard in the first quarter, we were down four points in the first quarter and we played tough. Some of our players are learning how to compete on every play and that is really fun to watch as a coach".

Briona Jensen made her debut after having to sit out for 9 games due to an ankle injury. She finished with 6 points and 3 rebounds.
