Chanute, KS – The Panthers fell to Johnson County in four sets on Saturday afternoon (17-25, 25-27, 25-21, 16-25). The Cavaliers would jump on an early 4-0 run to start off set one. Johnson would keep control in set one and take it 25-17. Set two would be point for point and tied up at 12-12, it would again get tied up at 17-17. The Panthers would take the lead at 24-23, Johnson would tie it back up at 24-24 and once again the Panthers would take the lead 25-24. Johnson would tie it up then score the next two to take set two 27-25. In set three the Panthers would bring some fight and take an early 9-4 lead. The Panthers were able to keep a lead the whole set and finish out set three on top 25-21. The Cavaliers would come away with set four with a set score of 25-16.

Rylee Moseman led the defense with 14 digs each.
The Panthers move to 11-7 overall and 10-6 in conference play. Next up for the Panthers will be on Monday, March 22 at Labette at 6:30 pm.
