The Lady Panthers finish out another week against the Thunderbirds of Cloud County. The Panthers were able to take the match in three sets (25-22, 25-22, 25-22). Neosho was able to jump out on top with a 7-1 lead before letting the Thunderbirds come within one with a score of 10-9. The thunderbirds then tie it up at 11-11. The score would stay close for the remainder of the set but the Panthers were able to pull out on top. The second and third set would also be close matches but in the end Neosho came out on top to finish out the Thunderbirds. With this win the Panthers are now on a six game winning streak, their only loss being the first game of the season.
Freshman right side,
Hannah Brisco had a season high night. She recorded 17 kills in three sets and only two errors on 25 attempts, hitting for +0.600. Freshman setter,
Rylee Moseman recorded 35 assists on the match. Defensively freshman libero,
Brooklyn Strobel recorded 17 digs.
Another win will lead the Panthers to a 6-1 overall record and 6-0 record in conference. Neosho was set to play Labette County on Monday, February 15 but due to weather the game has been postponed. The next scheduled match will be against Highland Community College at Highland.
