Harrison, AR- The Lady Panthers were sluggish out of the gate Tuesday, ultimately costing them an 81-67 decision, dropping their first loss on the season.
The Neosho Panthers got off to a slow start in the first half of the match-up with North Ark. Neosho forced 20 turnovers but only got to the free-throw 9 times while North Ark shot 28 free throws. "Some nights you are not going to be able to score the ball easily and we are going to have to rely on our pressure defense to help us win games," Coach Davis said. "Give North Ark credit they forced us to 27 turnovers, a season-high for us," Davis added.
Neosho is now 7-1 on the season and will begin preparing for their next game Tuesday when they host the Bethany College Swedes.
