Box Score 4 Chanute, KS – The Panthers hosted the Panther Invite over the weekend and would add four wins to their season following their conference sweep over Allen County on Wednesday night making it a 5-0 week.
The Panthers first matchup of the weekend came against Fort Scott Community College. The Panthers would add another sweep to their season beating the Greyhounds 25-9, 25-18, 25-12.
Hannah Brisco would lead the offense with 15 kills.
Brooklyn Strobel led the Panther defense with 23 digs.
The second matchup would come against Des Moines Area Community College. This would be the Panthers only four set match on the weekend. The Panthers would take the first two sets and after dropping the third come back to get the win with set scores of 25-16, 25-22, 22-25, 25-17.
Hannah Brisco would lead the offense with 17 kills followed by
Alyssa Hunter who tallied 14 on the match. Defensively the Panthers were led by
Brooklyn Strobel with 18 digs followed by
Riley Kallevig with 17.
Next up the Panthers would take on Coffeyville Community College. The Panthers would get their second sweep on the weekend with set scores of 25-13, 25-10, 25-18.
Talia Wright led the team in hitting percentage hitting %.750 followed by
Rylee Moseman who hit %.429 on the match. Defensively
McKinley Pruitt had a team high three blocks on the match.
The last matchup of the Invite the Panthers would take on John Brown JV. With another sweep the Panthers went undefeated on the weekend. Set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-19.
Marah Zenner would tally 35 assists on the match and 12 digs.
