Chanute, KS. – Neosho roared back with a second-half comeback attempt, erasing an 18-point deficit, but eventually fell to Garden City, 74-84, Wednesday.
Chrissy Brown ended the night with her 8th double-double pouring in 22 points and 15 rebounds while Hayley Stiger finished with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Ashley Dillinger scored herself a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jessica Jones and Morgan Bolen each knocked down 12 points apiece.
Neosho forced 25 Garden City turnovers on the day. Neosho had trouble finding its shooting stroke in the second quarter and was outscored 28-11. Neosho won two of the four quarters.
The Panthers will be back in action at home Saturday, January 11th as they host the Saints of Seward County. Game set to tip at 5:30 p.m.
