​Chanute, KS. –  Neosho roared back with a second-half comeback attempt, erasing an 18-point deficit, but eventually fell to Garden City, 74-84, Wednesday.

Chrissy Brown ​ended the night with her 8th double-double pouring in 22 points​ and 15 rebounds​ while ​Hayley Stiger​ finished with ​15​ points​ and 6 rebounds​. ​Ashley Dillinger scored herself a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jessica Jones and Morgan Bolen each knocked down 12 points apiece. ​

Neosho forced ​25 ​Garden City turnovers on the day. Neosho had trouble finding its shooting stroke in the second quarter and was outscored ​28-11​. Neosho won ​two​ of the four quarters.

The Panthers will ​be back in action at home Saturday, January 11th as they host the Saints of Seward County.  ​Game set to tip at 5:30 p.m.
