Jonathan Breeland Jr., the Neosho County men's basketball program fought past a resilient Cloud County squad early Wednesday evening, knocking off the Thunderbirds by a 76-64 margin at Arley Bryant Gymnasium in Concordia, KS.

Freshman guard
Jonathan Breeland Jr. racked up his fifth 20-point showing of the season, pacing the Panthers behind 26 points on 9 of 21 shooting from the floor along with 7 of 9 from the free-throw line. Additionally, sophomore guard
Jae-Min Yang continued his dominance, racking up 12 points along with a team-high 11 rebounds, while sophomore
James Taylor added 10 points on 3 of 10 shooting.

KEY STORYLINES & STATISTICS
•            The Panthers opened the game on a 9 to 0 run before the T-Birds got on the scoreboard.
•            Cloud ended the first-half on an 11-0 run to take a 38-34 lead into the locker room at half.
•            The Panther defense would hold the T-Birds to just 26 second-half points.
•            In the second half, the T-Birds would take a 41-34 lead before the Panthers finally turned up the defensive pressure and went on a 10-0 run of their own.
