Jadis White dished out 21 assists to set the programs single-game assist record passing Jannero Pargo who had 16 assists back in 1999 vs the Houston Quest.
Five players scored in double figures with Freshman
Jonathan Breeland Jr. leading the way with 25 points. Sophomore Jae-min Yang added a double-double with 24 points and 14 rebounds.
Corbett Kimberlin tossed in 6 of 11 from three scoring 22 points. Freshman big man
Daniel Titus added 21 points while sophomore
James Taylor scored 18 off the bench.
The Panthers scored a season-high 130 points, exploding for 72 in the second half. Neosho shot a crazy 70 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and 83 percent from the free-throw line. The Panther defense forced 21 turnovers that transitioned into 34 points. The Panthers also dominated the glass 49 to 31.
"It's obviously not a great time for a non-conference game but we were able to work on a few new things and work on some things that needed to be addressed." Coach
Jeremy Coombs said. "I feel like as a team we got better and this should help us as we close out the season."
The Panthers will hit the road Wednesday as they travel to Concordia, KS to take on the Cloud County T-Birds. Tip in Concordia is set for 8:00 pm.
