Chol Adup also took 4 charges in the game.

"We take pride in all facets of the game but defense wins championships and I felt we did a nice job of sticking to the game plan defensively." head coach Jeremy Coombs said, "We definitely made some mistakes but I thought for the most part we did a great job of speeding them up and forcing them to turn the ball over."

The Panthers finished the game hitting 17 threes and dominated the glass 69 to 35. But the biggest stat of the night was the Panthers defense forcing the Lions into 28 turnovers.

"Early in the season, you want to learn some lessons and figure some things out," said Coombs, "I felt like we got a good look at what we do well and what we need to work on this week in practice."

The Panthers will go back to work this week to prepare for Tuesdays game as they host Hesston College Tuesday night at 7:30pm.
