SETTING THE SCENE
The Panthers will need to build off their last victory to make it two in a row. The Panthers defense helped lead them to victory but unselfish play on the offensive end helped Neosho light up the scoreboard. The Panthers did all that scoring without attempting a three.
"We know we can shoot the ball, but figuring out what are good threes to take has been our Achilles' heel." Coach
Jeremy Coombs said. "So, we really focused on finding other ways to score the ball."
SCOUTING THE SPIRES OF SAINT MARYS
USM JV is 3-2 on and has been in some very close games. The Spires run a high-powered offence and look to attack and kick for threes. The Spires aren't afraid to shoot it from deeps as they are attempting over 20 threes per game.
SERIES HISTORY
In the Coombs era, the Panthers have only faced University of Saint Mary's JV three times and are a perfect 3-0.
