Jack Taliaferro is one of five Kansas kids Coach Coombs brought into the program this season. Taliaferro a sophomore transfer who previously attended Friends University and graduated high school from Goddard Eisenhower. Has made an immediate impact on this years team. In Jacks senior season of high school he averaged 7.2 points per game and grabbed 5.6 rebounds per game while leading the Tigers to a 21-2 season. With the Panthers Jack is currently averaging 5.3 points per game and has started in 11 of the Panthers 22 games. 

"Jack is that guy that all coaches love coaching." Head Coach Jeremy Coombs said "He's a yes sir, no sir guy that works his tail off everyday. I always know he will give me everything he's got."
 
Jack currently carries a 3.94 GPA and has interest from several Ivy League schools.
