Chanute, KS. – Neosho women's basketball fall to #20 Butler Wednesday 113-83. The Panthers started off hot scoring the first seven points of the game. Neosho took a 13-3 lead before the three-minute mark. The Panthers continued on a roll eventually making their lead 28-17 with just under 2 minutes left in the quarter.The second quarter proved to be the deal breaker for the Panthers after the Grizzlies went on a 20-2 run, scoring 12 of those points in just less than two minutes. To close the quarter and half, the Panthers went to the locker room behind 58-40. Coming out in the third, the Panthers still cold only scoring 17 points and allowed Butler to score 35 extending the Grizzlies lead, 93-57. Neosho scored 26 points in the fourth and held Butler to 20.
