El Dorado KS, – Neosho County Community College women's basketball team (7-22, 4-21 Jayhawk) fell to Butler County Community College (19-9, 16-9 Jayhawk) this Saturday in a 82-55 contest in El Dorado Ks. Neosho returns to Chanute Ks, for Sophomore Night on Monday February 26th at 5:30 PM.
Bench play and turnovers continued to be the story for the Panthers, as the team had 33 total turnovers and 16 points from the bench. The second half included a Third Quarter quarter in which the Panthers were called for 15 Personal Fouls and turned the ball over 15 times.
Despite the lopsided stat lines,
DeQuandra Lyles led the team in points with 16 points, she also had two steals.
Also for Neosho,
Alexis Casher scored 7 points and 9 Rebounds, but coughed up the ball four times.
The Panthers 33 turnovers turned into 29 points for the Grizzles, a large factor in the loss.
