Chanute, KS – The Lady Panthers suffered a heartbreaking loss to the No. 8-ranked Hutchinson Blue Dragons Wednesday 78-87.

Chrissy Brown finished with a team-high 21 points and pulled down 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Redshirt Freshman
Kelcey Hinz went 7 for 8 from the stripe and finished with 18 points and 6 steals. Sophomore
Calea Augustin added 12.
The Lady Panthers shot 32.9 percent from the field (23 - 70), 19 percent from the arc (4-21) and shooting 72.2 percent from the free throw line (39-49). Neosho forced Hutchinson into 32 turnovers while committing 28 of their own. Neosho got out-rebounded 40 to 52 for the first time this season by the Blue Dragons.
GAME NOTES - Largest lead: Hutchinson by 12 in the fourth quarter at the 8-minute mark. Neosho led by 8 in the second quarter at the 8:22 mark. There were nine lead changes and 11 ties in the game.
