Chanute, KS - The Neosho County Community College women's basketball team suffered a tough home loss Monday, falling by the score of 107-99 in an offensive battle with Redlands Community College.
Neosho County had the edge in three of the four quarters, but the Cougars outscored the Panthers, 31-20, in the final ten minutes to claim the non-conference victory.
Freshman Jessica Jones led the Panthers with 25 points, including six 3-point goals, and three rebounds. Freshman Chrissy Brown scored 18 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and had five assists. Also for the Panthers, sophomore Calea Augustin netted 17 points and had three steals, while sophomore Alexis Casher grabbed a team high 11 boards and added 9 points.
The Neosho County Women's Basketball returns to action Wednesday, December 5th at home. The Panthers face Hutchinson Community College at 5:30 pm as they return to conference play.
