Panther Women Lose to Dodge City in Overtime 76-87
Dodge City, KS – Neosho County women's basketball (4-6) (1-1) lost, 76-87, in overtime to Dodge City (7-3) (2-0) on Saturday afternoon.
Redshirt Freshman Kelcey Hinz led the Panthers with 13 points and nine rebounds. Freshman guard Chrissy Brown had 10 points and four rebounds. Sophomore Alexis Casher had nine rebounds.
Neosho shot 31.0 percent (17-of-49) from the field, 25.7 percent (9-of-35) from behind the arc and 62.5 percent (15-of-24) from the free-throw line. Dodge shot 36.6 percent (22-of-57) from the floor, 32.0 percent (8-of-25) from the 3-point line and 57.6 percent (19-of-33) from the charity stripe.
The Panthers will take on Redlands Community College in Chanute, Monday December 3, at 5:30 pm.
