Park Hills, MO- On Sunday, the Neosho Women's basketball team outscored John Wood Community College in every quarter but the first quarter, which led to their 87-63 victory. Neosho trailed John Wood 16-24 after the first quarter due to a slow start offensively. Neosho doubled their point total from the first quarter and held the Blazers to just fourteen points. Neosho led the Blazers by 12 points going into halftime, 50-38. Neosho continued to dominate offensively in the second half against John Wood. The Panthers outscored the Blazers 37-25 in the second half. The Panthers also controlled the board as they outrebounded the Blazers 47 to 32. Neosho dominated down low in Sunday's game as they scored 50 of their 87 points inside the paint.
Sophomore Calea Augistin scored a team high 14 points followed
Kelcey Hinz and
Jessica Jones who both chipped in 13 points each. Sophomore
Alexis Casher had her first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the game. Â

Neosho Women's basketball will travel to Hesston College on November 13
