Miami, OK- The Lady Panthers traveled to Miami, Oklahoma on Thursday to take on the #20 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Lady Norse. The Panthers played the #20 Lady Norse tough, but turnovers proved to be the difference in the 86-76 loss. The Panthers played a tough first half against the Lady Norse where they trailed by only three points going into halftime. Neosho started off the second half strong defensively. They held NEO A&M to 15 points in the third quarter. The Panthers continued to battle with the Lady Norse in the fourth quarter, but NEO capitalized on a few crucial turnovers by the Panthers late in the final quarter.Â
 "We played well but we need to value the ball better." Coach
JJ Davis said. "We have a tough couple of games on the road this weekend and we have to better." Davis added.
Sophomore
Erica Birch ended with 18 points on the night and 6 rebounds. Freshman
Jessica Jones had 18 points, 2 steals and blocked 4 shots. Sophomore
Alexis Casher ripped down 7 boards.
The Lady Panthers will travel to Park Hills, MO this weekend to take on Mineral Area Community College on Saturday at 3:00 pm and John Wood on Sunday at 1:00 pm.
