The Neosho County Community College rolled past Ottawa University JV 11-1 and 16-2 on Tuesday afternoon.

Both games ended early due to the 10-run mercy rule as a total of five home runs left Hudson Field. The Panthers scored four runs in the first and second innings en route to the 10-run victory. Eight of the nine batters tallied at least one hit, while six tallied two hits. Left fielder
Evan Bourn paced the Panthers, hitting 2-for-3 while driving four runs. He had a triple and a home run for the game. Freshman
Alex DuBord went four innings for Neosho County. He struck out two, walked three and gave up one earned run in the third inning. Sophomore
Trent Latta returned to the mound, pitching one inning with one strike out.

In game two, the rout continued. The Panthers scored four runs in the first, one in the second, three in the third and six in the fourth. Ottawa's two runs came in the top of the fifth inning. Third baseman
Brylie Ware led the attack with a 4-for-4 game. He homered to go along with three singles. He drove in five runs. Â Pitcher
Bryce Colt went the distance for the Panthers, striking out six to pick up the win.

The Panthers (32-5 overall and 15-5 in the KJCCC) will be back in action Thursday in Coffeyville against the Red Ravens (11-26 and 5-15). First pitch is slated for 1 pm.
