Monday night the Panthers played in their final regular season game as they traveled to Iola to take on the Red Devils from Allen. The rivalry between these two schools has led to some great games in the past couple of years and Monday would not be an exception. Each team would make runs and take the lead and then the other would storm back to take the lead. Allen would hit a three at the buzzer going into halftime to push their lead to 4. This didn't both the Panthers one bit as they came out and took the lead and held it for most of the second half. But it was that 4 point halftime lead that would be the difference as the Panthers and Red Devils would be evenly matched in the 2
nd half. Both teams scored 28 points in the second half leading to the Red Devils topping the Panthers 55-51. Freshman
Jhanai Felix finally came to life after a relatively quiet season scoring 18 points hitting five 3 pointers. The Panthers finish the regular season with a 11-19 record (2-17 in conference).
