Kascity Martin's 25 points were not enough on Saturday as the Panthers were unable to defeat the Red Ravens in the final home appearance for the women's team this season. Unlike their trip to Coffeyville, the Panthers found themselves in the game coming out of the half. In the past 3 games the Panthers have struggled to perform in the 3
rd quarter. Saturday would be different, as the Panthers were able to come out and cut a 21 point deficit to just 9. That would be as close as the Panthers would get. Turnovers and offensive rebounds allowed would be the Panthers downfall. The Panthers allowed 14 offensive rebounds leading to 12 second chance points and 21 turnovers that provided the Red Ravens with 26 points. These would be the difference as the Panthers fall 72-51.
Bianca Valderrama added 8 points and 3 rebounds off the bench for the Panthers. The Panthers will travel to Allen Monday evening to take on the Red Devils in the final regular season game for the Panthers. Tip for that game will be 6pm.Ā
