Chanute, KS - The Neosho County Community College Panthers would improve to 25-4 with a win over Coffeyville Community College on Saturday. The Panthers would have a comfortable lead for the majority of the game. They would lead by 12 at halftime and would eventually lead by 16 points with about 12 minutes left to play. But the Red Ravens would make a huge run by making 3 pointers in 3 straight possessions. The lead would diminish but the Red Ravens would never actually take the lead in the game.
The Panthers would have 4 players score in double figures. Led by
Jalen Jackson with 18 who went 7/7 from the free throw line.
Marc Moon would have 16,
Richard Granberry would score 15, and
Tyson Downing would score 11. The Panthers out rebounded the Red Ravens by 16 and record 16 offensive rebounds in the game.Â
Neosho will travel to Iola KS on Monday, February 22 to take on the Allen County Red Devils in the last conference game of the season.
