Independence KS - The Neosho County Community College Panthers get another road conference win on Saturday. The game would see a lot of lead changes through-out. The Pirates would shoot 48% from the 3 point line in the game but it would not be enough. Tate Turner from Independence would lead all scorers with 28 points. Followed by Richard Granberry with 26 points and 8 rebounds. The game would be close late. A Marc Moon steal and break-away dunk would tie the game at 73 points each with 2:00 remaining on the clock. Late stops and made free throws would secure the win for the Panthers. Neosho is still tied at the top of the Jayhawk Conference with Hutchinson Community College at 14-3 each.
