Chanute KS – The Neosho County Community College Men's Basketball team started conference play with a win, as they took down the Cowley Tigers 86-78 at home.
Marc Moon led all scorers with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Austin Downing added 17 and
Dion Union added 15. "We had some freshman step up big for us, and knock down some free throws", said Panther Head Coach
Jeremy Coombs. The Panthers shot 48% from the field, 35% from 3, and 55.6% from the Free Throw line. The Panthers would outscore the Tigers by 11 in the second half.

th for its last non-conference game of the season vs Friends University JV.
