Chanute KS – The Panther Men's Basketball team played its final non-conference game of the season on Monday. They took down Friends University JV by a score of 92-62. "It was a great opportunity for us to play a lot more guys and work on things we don't always get to work on", said Head Coach
Jeremy Coombs. The Panthers were led in scoring by sophomore sharp shooter
Tucker Thompson. Thompson had 20 points, going 3-6 from the 3 point line and 5-7 from the free throw line. The Panthers shot 57% from the field, and out rebounded the Falcons by 18.
The Panthers next game will be at rival Allen County for their second conference game of the year on Wednesday, November 16 at 8:00pm.
