Aransas City - KS, The Panthers win in overtime to reach the #1 spot in the Jayhawk Conference. The win would not be an easy one. It would need 12 lead changes, 10 ties, and 1 overtime period for the Panthers to pull off the win. Cowley now drops to 5-4 in conference play. Pedro Batista da Silva for Cowley would lead all scorers with 30 points. Jalen Jackson would lead the Panthers with 21 followed by Freddie McSwain with 18, Marc Moon with 17, and Richard Granberry with 14. This is the second straight game for the Panthers to have 4 guys scoring double figures. 

The Panthers would tie the game with 0.7 seconds left in regulation with a Jalen Jackson pull up jump shot. The cowley heave would not draw iron. In overtime the Panthers would outscore the tigers 14-11, going 10/10 from the free throw line in the extra period. Cowley would make two late three;s but it would not be enough.
