The Panthers went into Wednesday night's match up with Pratt Community College looking to earn their second conference game of the season and put an end to their four game losing skid. The Beavers used their six foot-three inch center Megan Poole to build a 13 point lead in the first and second quarters. The Panther would then find their shooting touch and go on a 16 to 4 run and cut the Beaver lead to just one at the break. The second half would have yet another Beaver run that the Panthers did not have an answer for. The Panther shooting woes returned only making three shots in the second half and shooting 25% from the floor. Megan Pool finished a perfect 8 for 8 from the floor (16 points) and would power the Beavers past the Panthers by a final score of 79-53. Panthers
Kascity Martin and
Ki'Asha Harris both had 15 points and were the only Panthers to score in double figures. The Panthers travel to Cowley on Saturday looking to end their five game losing streak and pick up their second conference win of the year. Tip time for that game in Ark City will be 5:30pm.
