Former Panther Bobby Warnes went on a tear this year at the plate, and earned himself the batting title in the New York - Penn League. Warnes hit .351 with 188 at-bats, 8 doubles, and a .438 on-base percentage. Wernes was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 30th round of the 2015 MLB Draft after playing at Neosho County Community College for a year, and then transferring to the University of Arkansas.
