The Neosho County men's soccer team extended their winning streak to two games in a row after beating Wentworth College 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The Panthers improved to 3-3-1 on the year thanks to goals from
Ismael Serratos,
Sam Gavin,
Matheus Alves,
Ozzy Olmos (2) and
Jack Lambert (2).
Neosho came out sharp from the start and controlled possession for much of the game, outshooting Wentworth 25-9 on the day. Freshmen goalkeeper,
Jose Villeda made 6 saves on his collegiate debut and earned his first career shutout.Â
The Neosho County men's soccer team will look to extend their run as they host St Charles Community College on Saturday, September 19th for their last non-conference game. Kick-off for Saturday's game is at 2 P.M.
