The Neosho County Community College baseball team swept Baker University in Baldwin City Tuesday. The Panthers won game one 8-2 and game two 20-5.
In game one, Neosho scored a run in the top of the first, allowing one run in the bottom of the opening inning. Neosho scored two more in the top of the second for a 3-1 lead.
Neosho stretched its lead to 5-1 with two runs in the top of the fourth. The scoring continued, with the Panthers scoring another run in the fifth and two in the sixth. Baker scored its final run in the bottom of the sixth.
Drew Johnson (5-1) picked up the win, pitching five innings, allowing four hits and one run and striking out five. Shane Hummel had four strike outs in two innings of work, allowing a run.
Levi Ashmore drove in a run and was 2-for-4 at the plate, scoring a run. Spencer Ibarra went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
In game two, The Panthers scored runs in every inning, ending the game with a run rule after five. Neosho scored two in the first, three in the second, six in the third, four in the fourth and five in the fifth.
Baker scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth and one in the fifth.
Josh Willis (3-1) picked up the win, striking out three and allowing four runs in four innings of work. Abe Young pitched an inning, striking out one. 
Ibarra drove in five RBIs batting 2-for-4 with a run scored. Chad Thomas went 2-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored. Jonah Bride scored two runs, drove in five RBIs and scored two runs.
Neosho is scheduled to face Coffeyville Community College today at 1 p.m. at Hudson Field.
