The Panthers hosted North Central Missouri today at Hudson field for a double header. With the first game getting underway the Panthers would score first in the first inning putting up one run on three hits.Ā North Central would answer in the top of the third with a two run homerun that would make the game 2-1. The Panthers would strike back in the bottom of the inning scoring three runs on three hits and a walk, making the score 4-2 going into the top of the fourth inning. The fourth inning would be the calm before the storm as both teams were held scoreless. The Panthers would go onto score nine runs in two innings. All four runs in the fifth inning would come by way of grand slam by freshman
Ryan Skalnik. Ā Neosho would score five more, with help by
Blake Tomasino scorching a three run homerun in the sixth to run rule North Central Missouri.
Nathan Whitcomb would go the complete game, and get his second win of the season.Ā
Game two would start slow with both teams having two scoreless innings to start. Neosho would score five runs in the bottom of the third, two runs coming by way of a homerun by
Jonah Bride. North Central would score one run in the fourth, which would go on to be their only run of the game. The Panthers on the other hand would score five more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 10-1 going into the fifth inning of play. Johnson shut down the North Central hitters to leave the lead at nine runs going into the bottom of the sixth. Sutherland would double, and freshman
Evan Bourn would double to bring the winning run across plate. Freshman
Drew Johnson would pitch a complete game and would also get his second win of the season.

Jonah Bride going 5-7 on the day with seven RBI's, and
Evan Bourn who went 3-6 with four RBI's. The Panthers will take on Labette Community College this weekend with two away games Saturday, followed by two home games Sunday starting at 1:00 pm. Ā
