The Panthers hosted Crowder Community College today at Hudson Field for a nine inning non conference game. The Panthers would win the game 4-1 in nine innings, making them 15-7 on the year.

With the wind howling in from center the Roughriders would score first in game, getting one run across in the top of the first. Neosho would quickly answer that with a run of their own in the bottom of inning number one. Josh Willis would make quick work of his second inning going three up three down in the top of the second inning. The Panthers would score another run in the second to make the score 2-1 going into the top of the third inning. The Roughriders would be shut down at the plate, not scoring another run all day. As for the Panthers, they would go on to score two more runs in the bottom of the forth to make it 4-1. The Panther's defense would hold the Roughriders to eight consecutive scoreless innings to win the game 4-1.

The hot hitter of the day was Levi Ashmore going 2-3 on the day. Drew Johnson would get his third win this season on the mound making him 3-1. The Panthers will take on Highland Community College For this weekends conference series. The first two games will be on the road, followed by two home games this Saturday at Hudson Field.
