The Neosho County Panthers Volleyball team 22-12 (3-5) hosted the #11 NEO A&M Norsemen 17-2 (1-1) in last night's contest. NEO A&M took the match in three sets (25-12, 25-19, 25-21). Though the Norsemen swept the Panthers, the match was closer and more competitive than the score depicted. Neosho improved each set and had some bright moments in the match. Neosho's Freshmen MB
Riley McGinn had an impressive block to take the go ahead lead in the third set. This would eventually lead to a 6 point scoring frenzy for the Panthers. Eventually, the Norseman would comeback and not only take the third set, but ultimately the match. The Panthers will look regroup next week when they take on Friends University at 6:00pm on October 26
th in Chaunte, and finish up the regular season at home against Labette on October 28th at 6:30pm.
