STERLING, Kan. – The Neosho Panthers  continued their hot start to the season with their third straight win away from home, downing Sterling College 99-74 to improve to 4-0 on the year.

Playing their third game in just four days, the Panthers came out sluggish in the first half against the Warriors. Neosho shot just 28% from the floor in the first half while foul trouble allowed Sterling to hang around. The Warriors go to the foul line 30 times in the first half converting on 23 of their attempts and trailed Neosho just 46-42 at half.

In the second half the Panthers began to get things going on the offensive end and shot 44% including 7-18 from behind the three point line. Sterling still made 23 trips to the foul line in the second half but cooled off shooting just 56% (13-23) in the period. On the night the Panthers were whistled for 36 fouls.

Autumn Lipscomb led the Panthers with a career high 21 points off the bench, knocking down 5-10 from beyond the arc and grabbing 8 rebounds.
Denise Levine added 18 points and
Olivia Uhrich and
Hannah Jones each finished with 10.

The Panthers will continue their rugged stretch of games tonight when they travel to El Dorado to take on the Butler Grizzlies (3-2, 0-0) at 5:30. The Panthers will return home on November 17 when they host the University of Saint Mary for a 5:30 tip off.
