Box Score The Neosho Panthers continued their winning ways Monday night when they took down Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in straight sets. The win extends the Panthers current win streak to 12 matches, and they have won the last 19 consecutive sets.
The Panthers were led by
Genesis Mejias who finished with 10 kills on only 14 swings, hitting .714 for the match. She also added five more blocks to bring her team leading total to 69.
Laura Broadfoot spread the ball around well on the night as
Alexis Fulghum and Rosemerli Carillo each finished with seven kills,
Carolina Alfonso added 8, and
Tasha Wampler finished with 9. Broadfoot recorded her 7
th double-double of the season, finishing with 39 assists to go with 10 digs.
The Panthers improve to 18-5 on the season with the win, and will be back in action Wednesday (Oct. 2) when they host Kansas City Kansas Community College at 6:30pm. It will be crucial match for both squads as they each enter the match receiving votes in the NJCAA poll and tied for 3
rd in the Region 6 standings.
