The Panthers knocked off Allen County 3 games to 0 in the first games played at the newly renovated Gymnasium. They would stay perfect for the day with a sweep of their nightcap against Marshalltown Community College. They would not fare as well on Saturday as they were knocked off by Butler Community College and Coffeyville Community College to fall to 2-2 on the young season.

Yuleika Jimenez (Fr., Caracas, Venezuela) led the Panthers with 15 kills, followed by Shelby Ebarb (So., Goddard, KS) with 10. Libero, Katie Jensen (So., Lansing, KS) had 23 digs for the match, while setter Laura Broadfoot (Fr., Wichita, KS) tallied up 22 assists.

Sophomore Shelby Ebarb provided 9 kills for the Panthers in the second match of the day. Yuleika Jimenez, Tasha Wampler (Fr., Baxter Springs, KS), and Alexis Fulghum (Fr. Wichita, KS) all chipped in with 6 kills each. Jessica Wehrli (Fr., Rossville, KS) had 3 aces, 8 setting assists, along with 4 digs to contribute in multiple areas for the Panthers. Whitney Gifford (Fr., Topeka, KS) led the defense with 13 digs, followed closely by Katie Jensen with 12. Tasha Wampler and Mollie Ravnikar (So., Spring Hill, KS) worked hard in the middle to each gain 3.5 blocks.

Shelby Ebarb once again led the team with 9 kills, and added 2 serving aces. Yuleika Jimenez was right behind her with 9 kills. Whitney Gifford had team high 15 digs, while Laura Broadfoot was first in assists with 17.

Freshman Yuleika Jimenez stepped up to earn 12 kills in this match. Shelby Ebarb had 7 kills along with 3 more aces. Katie Jensen provided many opportunities for the Panthers with 23 digs. Setter Laura Broadfoot had 14 assists.
