Seven Panthers Earn Post Season Honors

Tyler Palmer was named the first team catcher thanks to his stellar play behind the plate. Palmer only hit .225, but he fielded at a .995 clip making only two errors in 419 chances while throwing out 17 of 30 would be base stealers.
 
Matt Strahm was named to the first team after going 8-3 with a 1.37 ERA and a school record 124 strikeouts in 92.0 innings pitched. Strahm is the school's all-time leader in complete games, shutouts, and strikeouts. His three shutouts this season are also a school record. Strahm was also named to the First Team All-Region Team.
 
Adam Giacalone was named to the first team at two positions. As a first baseman Giacalone hit .407 with 25 doubles and 12 homeruns while driving in 57 runs. Giacalone also set the school record as he recorded 45 walks on the year. On the mound, Giacalone posted an 8-3 record with a 1.72 ERA and 85 strikeouts in 89.1 innings pitched. Giacalone is the school's all-time leader with 18 wins on the mound. Giacalone was also named the Eastern Division's Most Valuable Player for the second time. He was also named to the First Team All-Region team as a first baseman.
 
Jordan Miller was named to the second team as an outfielder. Miller is currently second on the team in stolen bases with 18, walks with 31, and third on the team in hitting at .347. Miller is one of two Panthers that has started every game this season.
 
Max Ising was named to the second team as a pitcher. Ising is the closer for the Panthers and has saved  a school record 10 games so far this season. Ising has appeared in a school record 24 games this season and 47 for his career. Ising currently has a 6-0 record to go with his 10 saves, and a 0.79 ERA with 39 strikeouts in 26.2 innings pitched.
 
Chance Sinclair was also named to the second as a pitcher. Sinclair made 12 starts for the Panthers going 8-2 on the mound with a 1.41 ERA while allowing only 58 hits in 74.2 innings pitched.
 
David Bote received Honorable Mention honors as a shortstop. Bote is leading the team in hitting with a .420 batting average. He is also leading the team in hits, runs scored, triples, and stolen bases and is second in homeruns, RBI's, and doubles.
