The Neosho Panthers are back in action Wednesday night as they travel to Coffeyville Community College for a Jayhawk East Conference road game. This past weekend the Panthers took down the Highland Scotties to extend the win streak to two games. The Panthers had Highland down by 22pts with 6 minutes to go in the game but the Scotties just wouldn't go away. The final score ended up Panthers 101, Scotties 96. The win keeps the Panthers in 3rd place in the Jayhawk East race. “It was a good win for us but it would have been nice to finish the game strong verse allowing Highland back into the lame like we did,” Coombs said, “If we want to win at Coffeyville Wednesday we must put together 40 minutes of basketball.”

Last time the Panthers played the Red Ravens the Panthers had a 1 point lead at the halfway mark but it was all Coffeyville in the 2nd half as the Panthers got out scored 51-38. In the last meeting Raymond Jeter (Columbia, SC) scored 12 points for the Panthers, Brett Jones (Kansas City, KS) had 10, Slim Gregoryshon Magee (New Orleans, LA) had 8 and Chris Patton (Victoria, Australia) ended up with 7.
